Dr Sabine Schellerer has worked in health care for over 20 years. She received her Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences and PhD in Human Biology from Ludwigs Maximilians University Munich and subsequently went on to work as a pharmacist for several years. During this period, she also discovered her interest in botanical medicines and alternative treatments. In 2001 she completed a Diploma in Journalism and worked as a medical writer, delivering articles for several healthcare magazines on a freelance basis.

In 2005, her family moved to Asia and Sabine decided to continue her professional development as a naturopath (Heilpraktiker) at the German Naturopathy School (Deutsche Heilpraktiker Schule) followed by a 2 years course in alternative medicine with the Indian Board of Alternative Medicine (IBAM). Sabine graduated with a postgraduate diploma in alternative medicine (PGDAM) with IBAM in 2014 and since then is a registered practitioner in India.

Until now, she continues her development through several additional certificates in women’s health and sports medicine. She also recently attended several workshops and training courses focusing on children’s health, fasting therapies, detox therapies, acid-alkaline balance, intestinal purification, Dr. Schuessler’s tissue salts, homeopathy, traditional urine inspection (uroscopy), neural therapy and cupping/Baunscheidt.

Sabine’s focuses are based around herbal medicine such as herbal tea preparations and extracts, spargic and gemmo methods, as well as tissue salts. She also uses homeopathy, supplements and Bach’s Flowers.

In addition, she works with simple manual techniques such as therapeutic massage or cupping massage and gives basic nutrition advice. Before the treatment of a chronic disease, she would always concentrate on body detoxification and intestinal sanitation as the first steps. Her diagnostic is based on a detailed and comprehensive medical history, a full body examination, facial diagnosis and, if needed, special lab tests.

Originally from Munich, Germany, Sabine has been living in multiple cities throughout Asia with her husband and three children since 2005. She leads a healthy lifestyle for herself and her family based on the principles of balanced nutrition, frequent exercise and essentially having fun together; enjoying life.
