Emma was born in the UK and completed her four-year Master’s degree in Osteopathy at Swansea University. She started her career in two busy London clinics, gaining experience helping patients with a range of musculoskeletal injuries. Working in these city locations meant Emma quickly specialised in hands-on modalities for stress-related pain, sports injuries and pre- and post-natal pain.
Working alongside ultra-marathon runners, CrossFit athletes and rugby teams has provided Emma with extensive experience of sporting injuries and an ability to address conditions affecting both athletes and many individuals in their daily life. She understands the frustration injury can bring and enjoys helping patients of all backgrounds improve their health, movement and quality of life through osteopathy.
Emma has received training in active birthing, which involves evaluating and addressing the needs of pregnant patients to effectively prepare them and their bodies for childbirth. Proficient in hands-on techniques, she can aid the body in adapting to pregnancy-related changes and alleviate pain. Additionally, Emma is also trained in conducting external pelvic floor assessments and providing treatments for pelvic floor issues to address pelvic pain, pelvic floor tension, and discomfort in the coccyx and lower back. She employs osteopathic interventions for digestive problems and constipation.
Emma aims to integrate pelvic floor function throughout the entire body, reflecting a holistic approach to managing various conditions affecting different areas such as the jaw, pelvic floor, and stress-related issues. In her approach to pain and injury management, Emma combines hands-on recovery plans with a holistic perspective that includes exercise rehabilitation, nutrition, and stress management techniques. Her additional qualifications in medical acupuncture, sports massage, yoga teaching, and Advanced Kinesiotaping allow her to tailor her approach to each individual.

Outside work, Emma enjoys being outdoors as much as possible – be that cycling, running, hiking or yoga. Otherwise, you might find her weight training, or going for an iced coffee!
