Born and raised in Suffolk, England, Madeleine’s journey has been deeply rooted in movement and expression. Her early years in the performing arts, particularly dance, led her to pursue a career in professional ballet by the age of 16. She trained extensively at Elmhurst Ballet School, affiliated with the Birmingham Royal Ballet, and graduated to perform with the Northern Ballet Company’s graduate program and the Vienna Festival Ballet on national tours across the UK. Madeleine later worked as a freelance dancer in London, excelling in both ballet and contemporary styles.

Her enduring fascination with movement and injury rehabilitation inspired a transition into the health sector. Madeleine first achieved a Matwork Pilates certification, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from St George’s University, London. Her clinical experience spans a broad spectrum, including orthopaedic care, sports injuries, stroke rehabilitation, and adolescent injuries. To enhance her practice, she has completed advanced training in Pilates equipment, integrating this expertise into tailored, one-on-one rehabilitation sessions. Madeleine’s approach is client-centred, aiming to empower individuals through effective, movement-based care.

Specialising in dance-related injuries, Madeleine brings her deep understanding of movement to her physiotherapy practice. She works extensively with young dancers, focusing on injury prevention, physical assessments, and personalised treatment plans. Common conditions she manages include lower limb overuse injuries, tendinopathies, bone stress injuries, patellofemoral pain syndrome, and ankle sprains. Madeleine is passionate about helping dancers remain strong, resilient, and injury-free, enabling them to thrive in their art.

Outside of her professional work, Madeleine enjoys staying active through yoga, Pilates, running, cycling, and exploring circus aerial silks. She treasures time with family and friends, discovering new cuisines, and traveling. Now based in Singapore, Madeleine is excited to embrace new opportunities and share her passion for movement and rehabilitation with her clients in this vibrant setting.
